From 2019 the Corsa uses the same 1.2 PureTech petrol as Peugeot and Citroën, whose belt runs in oil and can break up, blocking the oil supply.
Insignia and Astra diesels can suffer from EGR valve and DPF problems, plus dual mass flywheel wear.
Zafira B models were recalled over blower motor resistor fire risk. Check the recall work has been done.
Clutch wear is common on high-mileage Corsas and Astras, often noticed as a high bite point.
Look for warning lights, faulty central locking and infotainment glitches.
